Attached is a video showing two of the many McDonald's commercials that used the slogan "You Deserve a Break Today." This ad campaign targeted working adults, and was appealing because McDonald's marketed themselves as a "break" to their busy day.

This meme is inspired by Clifford Stoll's article "Why the Web Won't Be Nirvana." The top shows his statement through icons, with "Nirvana" represented by the popular band of the same name. The bottom is the "That One Didn't Age Quite So Well" meme to exemplify how wrong he was.
