This is My Air Space. I work on F-16s at Hill AFB Utah and have 42 years working on military aircraft both on active duty in the USAF and as a USAF civilian. I love all aircraft and photograph and video both military and civilian aircraft alike.
A KC-135 flies close to the sun at just the right angle to make the sunlight reflect through the trail and cause a incandescent, or rainbow effect.

Westjet out of Canada is starting a service from Edmonton Canada to SLC starting this month and running until October 2025. This is the first one I've seen o approach but the lighting was bad so this is the only distance shot I was able to get.

An F-35 high enough to have the wing vortexes turn into a form of contrail. I have to wonder what it would look like from the ground with a few F-35s dogfighting other aircraft overhead on a humid day?

A C-5M Super Galaxy passed over Utah at 37,025 feet this morning as I was having my coffee in my backyard. It came out of the west and headed east to parts unknown.

Caught this KC-135R with wingtip refueling pods, from a distance, on approach to Salt Lake City. From the paint scheme I would say this is a privately owned Metrea Aerospace KC-135.
