I tried to go full PlayStation this gen. I really did. But my PS5 literally died three times, and I really have a hard time with the Dualsense after more than a couple of hours. I don't even have a PS5 anymore. I kept my games and sold the last busted one for parts a few weeks ago

I get why people have a hard time going back to MKW after the Crossworlds network test, but i almost consider them completely different genres of kart racer, if that's even possible. Its best to separate them in your mind entirely

The snacks/beverage grocery runs are the best. You feel like royalty leaving the store

Miiverse and Streetpass existing at the same time was truly a blessing. Now we ain't got shit to interact with each other except obnoxiously long friend codes

These days, Nintendo 1st party games are the only thing I prioritize getting physically at launch when i can afford it. They ain't getting any cheaper! Most Xbox stuff (that isn't on Gamepass) gets the Gamefly or "wait for a sale" treatment. There will be exceptions, of course!

I gotta cop me a copy ASAP. I have it on Switch 1, but I'm a maniac, and I know I'll never play it unless I get the Switch 2 physical 😭

I'm very much looking forward to replaying this next year; it's a fantastic game. I hope Ys VIII and Ys IX get the same Switch 2 treatment

I noticed that, too! I've been having a lot of lag with doing stunt jumps, even when playing GP offline. The game is fundamentally great, but it needs a lot of polish.

That's for damn sure. That's happened to me a ton over the years. But like, I still *do* wanna play it? Idk maybe it's just my general lack of time combined with the Sonic Racing network test distracting me lol

This is after a four month delay, mind you. Imagine the shape it would've been in had it launched in May 😭

That's so crazy, I just finally bought a copy of this last weekend, and I was so close to the anniversary! Without having played it yet, I do have respect for this game at least trying something different with Metroid, even if most people think it didn't work

I liked it from the start, but for some reason I'm just struggling to find the motivation to keep going and really put some time into it. I'll keep picking at it and hope it fully clicks. If memory serves me correctly, I had a similar experience with Odyssey, and i love that game like a son now

I would agree with that, but I'd definitely need a replay before I declared it ahead of Island, too. Kinda crazy how big of a gap in quality there is between Island and Woolly World and the rest of the Yoshi games. Like, Yoshi's New Island is straight up BAD

YES. I saw a Yarn Yoshi amiibo at the local retro game shop near me last weekend, and I've had that main theme stuck in my head all week. I don't wanna have to whip out the Wii U or 3DS to play it again
