The worry is Amorim is already going down the Ralf Rangnick route: shareable soundbites delivered as “home truths” that mask a failure or reluctance to arrest the problems.

Rangnick’s “open-heart” surgery comments came while he was exploring a way out. Amorim needs to show he’s up for the fight.
