Sophia’s Wings is a registered 501c3 dedicated to provide families with support as they navigate through the unthinkable grief of losing a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy, or neonatal death. Our middle daughter was stillborn at 39w3d, cause of death unknown. She became a heart valve donor in May of 2012. My wife quit her teaching job, got her masters in counseling, and now runs Sophia’s Wings, a 501c3 that provides free grief counseling to families that lose a child.
