humor. The writing is crisp, the comedy is both a mix of dumb humor and intelligent stuff. S3 for me is the peak of Black Adder. The origins of "Mr S Baldrick" are here. There's just so much gold, I could write 10 parts to this.

I did see Michael Schenker live not that long ago here in Dallas. He and Armored Saint opened for WASP. However the fire marshal shut the show down before Wasp played. Venue has a habit of overselling - they did here a lot.

What I can’t remember is the Waysted lineup for that show except for Pete Way and the singer Fin Muir.

That was the only time I saw Bob Daisley live. Also can’t remember if Oz had switched back to Aldridge or if Carmine Appice was still there.

I never saw UFO, but I did see Pete Way's offshoot band Waysted once - Jan 1984. First band in a triple bill that also had Motley Crue & Ozzy.

They played one Waysted song and all the rest were UFO tracks - that bummed because the first Waysted album was killer shit. You have that?

Hugh Laurie (Ludwig) is the strength here, making an otherwise meh ep more enjoyable. It's nothing to do with his George character later. In the end, Ludwig makes his way to the Queen's place, killing everyone - a Black Adder tradition.

The pre DH era is good for oddballs like that.
