Also this. The bit where #BlackAdder tries to get the prince to say antidisestablishmentarianism. He fails immediately, & his delivery of "anti distinctly minty monty" made me laugh SO hard, it crystallized my love of the series RIGHT THERE.

I did see Michael Schenker live not that long ago here in Dallas. He and Armored Saint opened for WASP. However the fire marshal shut the show down before Wasp played. Venue has a habit of overselling - they did here a lot.

I never saw UFO, but I did see Pete Way's offshoot band Waysted once - Jan 1984. First band in a triple bill that also had Motley Crue & Ozzy.
They played one Waysted song and all the rest were UFO tracks - that bummed because the first Waysted album was killer shit. You have that?

Hugh Laurie (Ludwig) is the strength here, making an otherwise meh ep more enjoyable. It's nothing to do with his George character later. In the end, Ludwig makes his way to the Queen's place, killing everyone - a Black Adder tradition.

The Rangers only had two ROY. Used one of them (Hargrove), and the other (Neftali Feliz) doesn't work at all in this grid. Went with two Phillies in those squares (Sanford & Allen).
Might be two that did that elsewhere and just played in TX, but eh? :)

The "Only one Team" prevents my bit. Usually. WAR is also not my strong point. Went with Schmitty when I couldn't think of a Ranger that worked in that square.

For the most part I didn't dislike directorial changes they made. I liked seeing something different in most cases (an example here). A lot of the OG SFX were just re-used to save $ Moderm SFX weren't bound by that, so I liked newer takes. But for UC - I wanted the four ships in same formation. :)

Having said that there are a handful of effects where I prefer OG. This one from Ultimate Computer. Mostly because they changed the angle of the shot.
I know the reality - OG was just cut/paste the Enterprise a few times. I didn't care - this kid loved "four ships!". I missed that shot in new SFX.

I grew up with the old effects. I know them well. Quite a few of them I love. But I do prefer the newer ones. I mean some comparisons aren't even close.
