I watched a great thriller called Call Northside 777 about a newspaper man chasing down an unpopular lead. There's a polygraph scene that goes into so much detail that I was curious if this was the first time a polygraph had appeared on screen.

Eyes of Wakanda was pretty great. They should have packaged it as one long movie. It would have played the same way Predator Killer of Killers did - As much an anthology as a complete united story. Really fun stuff though. All episodes out now

The Freaky Friday sequel is the same story just with more people. That's fine but we could have done so much better. It should have been a movie where we learned that 20 years after the first switch, they have been switching EVERY SINGLE FRIDAY since. Freaky FridayS.

Finally watching Longlegs. It is very spooky, very cool. Cage's performance is disturbing and impactful and... a little annoying. We're getting to the point where it'd be truly unexpected if he just acted like a normal dude in these movies.

Opus just hit HBO and is wild. I was really digging the deep paranoia and was disappointed when they started answering the mysteries because it was so damn creepy. Doesn't bring anything new to the genre but if you love mind twisty cult movies then this is a jam.
