Hello world
Perhaps a cautionary tale of what can happen when the community clients of a decentralised social protocol can't escape the gravity of that protocol's flagship client.

@germnetwork.com Any plans to have Germ interop with other MLS apps? As far as I know there's MIMI for HTTPS, and Nostr has its own relay-based MLS interop standard (there are now 3 Nostr MLS apps looking to interop with each via that route). And maybe there are other MLS inteop standards out there?

Looks like Farcaster's flagship Warpcast client just rebranded as, well, Farcaster. What's going on I wonder, does this mean no more separation of protocol and client branding over there?

Agree here, moreover for atproto monetisation at the protocol level is far more important than enabling 'private atproto'. I think it's also quite misunderstood, as most people's first reaction is to imagine familiar monetisation methods at the app level and then assume they'd somehow be cross-app.
As someone who built both in the RSS world after it was cool (and before it was cool again I guess) and the blockchain world (even if it's not cool), I worry that atproto is missing the main reason why RSS failed and blockchains are succeeding: monetization at protocol level, not at the app level.

I suggest we upload plc.directory to a secure enclave on Voyager 2. While there may be some latency issues, think of the decentralisation.

Petition to rename AppView as Repo Depot. That's what it is, it's a depot for data from repos. It can be a small depot or a big depot. Main thing is what's in the depot came from the repos, and, that depot being a depot, will be sent to onwards to the place where it can actually be viewed.
