He craves attention more than anything. Saying his name is exactly what he wants most. But, come to think of it, there may be something to that whole Beetlejuice thing.

Uhhh...no.

It has been my experience that when someone is loudly and angrily telling you they are something, it usually turns out that they are actually the opposite of that.

So wrong.

I'm so right I can't even see my heart at all.

Congrats! Good things come on Mondays to those who do their laundry on Sundays, right?

Congrats! It's awesome that you're able to maintain a death/life balance and keep your marriage alive in the midst of burying so much in your life. 🙂

Congratulations!

I didn't completely leave. I stopped following anyone who wasn't sports or writing-related and never give any attention to any post that is even slightly political. Even liking a sports-themed post by someone who is opinionated politically will immediately ruin my feed. Bluesky is so much better.

Honestly, I enjoy a game with as little dice-play as possible. Smart decisions and great narrative make the most fun. At the very least a soft surface and a screen to hide the roll of dice to maintain the illusion.

We check all those boxes. At least we are comprehensive in our woe-dolatry.

That excuse only works for people who don't have money to hide in overseas accounts.

Make disciples do what exactly? I like making people do things.

Not all about me??? Where do you even come up with this stuff, man?
January 2, 2026 at 9:50 AM
Going to try for the worst version of myself. At least when I fail at that I don't have to feel bad about it.

Just do like I do. Be the stressor not the stressee. God loves a happy giver!

I do like a lot of what you do. It's more frustration that folks don't do the simple things that avoid these kinds of errors anymore. Proof, edit, proof again before hitting publish. By "edit" I mean someone else. My apology, though, for the harshness of my comment on your harmless error.

I miss the freedom they had with all those episodes to explore lighthearted and funny topics. These days it feels like every show is a single narrative divided into 10 episodes. While that can be incredibly good, it's also very limiting.

It is not difficult to convey tone through writing. That thinking is what got us here in the first place. Rather than develop the skills necessary, people just revert to pictures. It reminds me of the days of telling my young kids to use their words rather than just pointing at what they want.

Yes. I agree.I wipe the slate clean. But first I take a picture. Just in case.

Agree to disagree.

Writing has intentionally been dumbed down for years. Emojis over words, removing vowels for shorter texts, no punctuation. It sets the stage well for promoting AI writing as acceptable. I know young people who think I'm being aggressive when I put a period at the end of a sentence.

So you didn't have to use that grave after all?
