Slightly different scenario they were up 3, but basically you risk this type of shot going in....

MEM was not interested in playing any defense here... But, I do think Pritchard being in "attack mode" a little more often would not be a bad thing. I think this is where he's at his best.

Can always circle back out, if the defense recovers.

We watched the film in grade-school. I'm not sure if I even knew what a film score was... But it stayed with me for years. The Naxos recording still gets a lot of play from me, even now.

Pritchard is averaging 5.2 assists per game right now. That the most APG for the Celtics' starting point guard since Smart in '23 season.

Hugo Gonzalez's ability to navigate NBA screens as a 19 year old rookie is really good.

Here, he's able to stay connected to cause a turnover.

I've posted this before, but this video does an excellent job explaining how to navigate screens at an NBA level.

This is a great steal by Walsh. He has the quickness to cut off Wagner not once, but twice... Then he uses his 7'2" wingspan to knock the ball away.

This is the type of defensive instincts that will get Walsh more playing time. He bites on the upfake. But instead of being taken out of the play - he recovers to the corner for the steal.

One key - he contested the shot fake "straight up" - didn't lunge - helped keep him "on balance" to recover

Jaylen Brown played like someone who isn't used to losing - set the tone, and the team followed...

I'll go ahead and say it. The ice-skating/film-noir sub genre is probably not going to catch on. That said, Suspense (1946) is a wild time.

They get the switch, JB goes to the post

It will probably get lost in the frustration... But I thought the Celtics found something with the JB/DWhite action late in the game.

JB draws 2 - kicks to White for open 3

This is another film that makes me regret that I didn't buy more Twilight Time releases. I'm glad TCM aired it.
