I did not know, and I am ashamed to live under a system of racism that spans the highest offices, to sentencing, to profiling, to hiring, to media and beyond. Minorities are constantly under attack here: intentionally, unintentionally, and even inadvertently.

This trial judge joins the numerous others in the federal judiciary creating pressure on the Roberts Court to uphold the Constitution or continue to be ignominiously and conclusively exposed as corrupt and lawless.

I chronicle what a court like this one does because the judge is both upholding […]

Curious: why don’t you allow quoted-posts? Makes it easy to add value to your posts.

"ICE is occupying Minneapolis right now. It is a Gestapo. Gestapo is a truncation of the German words for secret state police. That’s what these people are. They are Trump’s secret police. And they’re not there to enforce the law. They’re not there to do anything lawful. They’re there to […]

Pierce County, are you guys okay? This is absolutely insane. Video from @hannahkrieg.bsky.social.

Neo Nazi Sheriff Swank basically threatened elected officials with violent retribution. Also, he sounds exactly like Steven Miller.

Still no indication from Hakeem Jeffries or Chuck Schumer that they are going to refuse support for any CR that appropriates or allows funding for ICE and CBP. They are useless. Both should be primaried.

This is the core truth of the Trump Era -- this, and the pathological refusal of US elites to face up to & acknowledge it.
Despite years of "economic anxiety" discourse, the core drivers of Trump support have always been bigotry and misinformation.

Gotham FC had a friendly against FC Bayern München today, and I can't find any info about it ☹️.

I'm sure it's just a tune up game before the Women's Champions Cup starts later this month, but still, those are two huge teams, so I thought there'd be SOME info about it.

Call me crazy, but I don't think the question of whether or not Bovino belongs in his job depends on whether or not he deletes the tweet he made calling protesters "cannon fodder." Making the tweet (along with many other things he's done) should disqualify him from any law enforcement job ever.
Rep. Lieu: “Greg Bovino last night made a post that essentially called protesters, ‘cannon fodder.’ He needs to delete that post, or he needs to resign…If Greg Bovino and the administration doesn't turn down the rhetoric, it's going to cause more people to get killed.”

everyone should see this. it's repression, occupation. (doesn't even make the home page of the paper of record ffs)
Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.

I want these fuckers prosecuted. I will not vote for a candidate who shies away from this.
A teenage boy was walking home in Minneapolis yesterday when four masked men jumped out of a van & questioned him - with no parent or guardian present.

He was bundled into the van & taken away.

Bystanders heard the boy say: “Can I just go home?”

I don’t know how America comes back from all this.

The important part is his demand for voter ID.

I will continue to sound alarms about the Nov elections until it makes every headline on every show and in every publication.
Trump lies: "We won the whole thing in Michigan three times. They didn't give us credit the second time. I think they should get voter ID."
