Bumping up as a reminder of the highest paid slot cornerback and how @mikereiss.bsky.social cleverly predicted this extension.
As @mikereiss.bsky.social pointed out earlier this month bsky.app/profile/mike...

Kyler Gordon is the highest paid slot cornerback with a $13.333M New Money APY

My latest projection for the Patriots 2026 salary cap space number is $46M with 47 players signed for the 2026 season.

I am GUESSING at the 2026 League Cap number, the 2025 carryover, and the adjustment numbers. These numbers will become more accurate as games are played.

A veteran can make between $17,500 and $22k a week on a team’s practice squad which works out to be between $315K and $396K for the season.

This is pretty cool. While I currently have a fraction of my Twitter followers I have already raised more money from my social media followers for my 2025 walk than I did for my 2024 walk. See pinned post for how to donate.

Let's gooooo
Sources: The Patriots are signing Texans FA WR Stefon Diggs, one of the top free agents available. He gets a 3-year, $69M deal.

After a successful visit to NE, including a physical thanks to an ACL tear that ended his 2024, he lands to be a key target for Drake Maye.

By my count the Patriots now have 70 players on their roster. ‪

I have 66 active players on my LibreOffice Calc worksheet while waiting on details of these four deals (Garrett Bradbury, K'Lavon Chaisson, Jack Gibbens, and Wes Schweitzer).

No. Post-June 1 designations can not be used with trades. Source - CBA Article 13 Section 6
Can you apply this to trades as well?

You are grossly underappreciated and underpaid. Thanks Miguel!

May I suggest watching my last appearance on the Locked on Patriots podcast. Spent a couple of minutes answering your questions. It is on Youtube. While the players are different the principle is the same
How does the cap work? We had 125 million and we signed five players. Do you think we used more or less less than half of that today?

Splash: The Patriots are taking the biggest defender off the market, as Eagles DT Milton Williams lands in New England, per me and Mike Garafolo.

Williams gets a $26M per year.

When I was projecting big-money deals for @mdabatenfl.bsky.social in this week’s appearance on the Locked on Patriots they were all three-year deals. So far, every big money Patriot deal has been for three years.

Will have a smile on my face the next time I take a lap😇
