Bruce Brown was not only pivotal in the #Nuggets' first title win, but a fan favorite.

In returning to his Denver home, can he recapture that championship magic and impact?

I dig DEEP into that question in my latest film study for

Why does the #NBA even have last 2 minutes reports when they can't get the call right even on multiple reviews?

Welp, disappointing game for the #Nuggets, but tough to win in the NBA when you gotta play against two teams

That ABSOLUTELY should have been a jump ball

I thought it *might* have gone off Vuc's leg there.

ANOTHER triple for Cam Johnson!

Arguably his biggest and most clutch shot so far in a #Nuggets uniform

Cam Johnson drains the corner 3-pointer

Tonight's #Nuggets performance has been largely disappointing so far, but Cam's shot finally starting to drop is a very, very welcome development.

This butt officiating crew probably will call this a flagrant on Bruce Brown, but it's BS if they do, both he and Hardaway were going for the ball, should just be a standard foul.

SWATSON!!!

Peyton Watson with the HUGE block, one of the best of his young career...

...then Cameron Johnson drains the transition triple from the corner at the other end

Peyton Watson opens the scoring for the #Nuggets with a corner triple, then a few possessions later gets the block on Matas Buzelis

#NBA players this season with the most games scoring 15 points or more, but when their team *lost*:

It's a 4-way tie for first place, with 9 such losses for each when these players had high(-ish) scoring games:

DeMar DeRozan
Jaren Jackson Jr.
Michael Porter Jr.
Pascal Siakam

Jamal Murray's finishing at and around the rim in the #Nuggets' win at Minnesota was outstanding

So I guess that's the headline of the #Broncos - #Chiefs game? Huh. Felt kinda different to me.

Btw, I was wrong, and David Adelman was right to start Tim Hardaway Jr. over Spencer Jones. (Reason 237 why he's an NBA coach and I'm just a guy).

THJ absolutely lit it up, PWat played great D on Ant, 💯% right call.

But still glad Spencer had some impactful minutes, though.
Didn't get my wish. Tim Hardaway Jr. and Peyton Watson get the starts in place of Christian Braun and Cam Johnson.

But I hope Spencer Jones gets big minutes, at least.
I'd like to see the #Nuggets start Spencer Jones to put on Anthony Edwards, and to keep the bench rotation somewhat intact. Peyton Watson, I assume, will start at the 3.

That'd be:
Mal/Spencer/Pwat/AG/Jokic
Pickett/BB/THJ/[time to call up DaRon Holmes?]/Val

I can't vouch for that, but my main point is the Broncos going 9-2 in their first 11 games is something that few would've predicted, clearly surpasses expectations, and is pretty impressive for a team that's found ways to win in a lot of 4th quarters after significantly more shaky quarters. Real? 🤷
so presumably those are the best teams in the NFL?
The Denver #Broncos are tied for the best record in the #NFL.

Pretty remarkable.

Nikola Jokic's shooting efficiency this season is insane, just completely off the charts

Restricted Area 83.1% (16.0% above league average)
Non-RA Paint 70.1% (26.0%)
Non-Paint Midrange 83.3% (43.2%)
Right Corner 3 66.7% (28.3%)
Above the Break 3 41.2% (6.0%)

The Denver #Nuggets have tied their 3rd-best franchise season start with a 10-2 record.

2 more consecutive wins would tie the team's best start, 3 more would be their best start ever.

Nuggets franchise best starts:

12-2, 1984-85
11-2, 1985-86
10-2, 1976-77

Fantastic, gritty win by the #Broncos.

I've been a skeptic, especially on account of their offensive unsteadiness, but it's hard to argue against 8 in a row, and they're just genuinely looking like they belong in the real conversation now.
November 17, 2025 at 12:43 AM
So, what I'm learning about the NFL rules today is:

Basically Broncos opponents have free rein to commit pass interference on both ends, but Denver doesn't.

I haven't watched every #Broncos game this season, but of the ones I have seen, their offense seems more competent and less sketchy than it's usually been. Hopefully a sign of progressing to more consistent, stable production.
