I was honored to be appointed to the Edgewater City Council last night. With incoming changes at the federal level, we need more city leaders who are willing to listen to all voices and stand with immigrants. Excited to join the current council in finding collaborative solutions with our community.

Living close enough to Mile High means that we hear the fireworks from a Broncos touchdown a few seconds before it airs on television. Go Broncos!

I’m a bit biased toward winter. Exciting to see the snowy Rocky Mountains after a few days in Phoenix with family.

They also had fewer ER visits, nights spent in a hospital, and jail stays.

The report estimates that this reduction in public service use SAVED the city $589k.

We experienced this in Greeley, Colorado in 2005, too. Kids from my child's kindergarten class were left behind. We cannot allow this to happen again.
“Children relied on neighbors and strangers to pick them up outside their homes after school,” WJTV reported following the 2019 raids. “They drove the children to a community center where ppl tried to keep them calm. But many kids could not stop crying for mom and dad.” www.wjtv.com/news/childre...

I'm sad to see Providence close. Owners Cody and Bonnie deserve a huge thanks for their hard work managing the community gathering space. Owning and managing a small business is tough. #EdgewaterColorado edgewaterecho.com/2024/11/edit...

Like many others, I deleted my Twitter account after the election, including my work accounts for Edgewater Collective and Edgewater Echo. I've not regretted it.
