My favorite thing about ineffability is that you can describe it.
As I was obviously elected to do.

Been in O.G./Riv. for 7 decades but only a couple of years into realizing how cool birds are, and that robins, sparrows, jays, cardinals and crows are just the beginning of an encyclopedia of locals. I've never seen either of the two birds you posted this morning. They are incredible. Thanks.

Reminds me of back when there was an NYU campus at University Heights and on April Fools Day 1971 the banner on The Heights Daily News was The Heights Daily Nose. Also reminds me to repurpose $$ I've been spending on the dead corpse of the Washington Post to help make Ben Collins' goal happen.

Left the Martin Beck one evening in 1992 just knowing we'd see Faith Prince as Dolly Levi at some point. Still waiting.

Ok, not responsive, but I do recall in college (and ever since) that there's the first slice that is The Best Thing Ever, the second slice which is trying to re-experience The Best Thing Ever, and the third slice which is the experience best described as "Aaaaagh -- Why Don't I Ever Stop at Two?"
