Nerding out about interfaces
I'm over Spotify -- the one thing I use it for, offline mode, is just so broken. How is it that I'm listening to a podcast on the tube and rewinding it 10s means I have to sit in silence for the next 20 min.

Maybe the phrase "go to market" has created a whole generation of failed startups and burnt out founders.

It conjures up the illusion that you have a product ready to "go" to the market, as if the destination is clearly ahead for you to *go* to.

There's something very dystopian/ironic/funky about tech companies doubling down on AI, which is basically a system of knowledge distillation, while simultaneously funding an ignorance-based realpolitik.

one thing i’m stuck on is this idea that “masculine” energy means license to act like a chud in public, as opposed to more traditional notions of public masculinity, such as those that put a premium on the performance of integrity, honesty, honor and generosity.
