Tulsi Gabbard revoked my security clearance after learning I'm considering a Senate run.

Laura Loomer and right-wing trolls unleashed a wave of attacks. Then came death threats.

The Trump machine wants to shut me up. But I won't:

I'm running to be Kentucky's next senator.
Had a great time speaking with the Henderson County Democrats tonight. Kentucky is ready to turn the page on 42 years of Mitch McConnell.

Thanks to the @lawgunsmoney.bsky.social crew for having me!

Shared my convictions around maintaining a robust, non-partisan civil service and getting this government to try as hard for the working class as it does for the ultra wealthy .

Thanks for saying this, @velshi.com

I’ve said it often when folks ask me why I’m running for the U.S. Senate. My generation of elder millennials has to get off the sidelines and in the game.

Went to bed mad. Woke up mad. Working families deserve so much better than what the ode 8 senators gave them last night.

Call it what it is: a betrayal. I’m running for a U.S. Senate so working families in Kentucky aren’t invisible to this system any longer.

Call it what it is: A betrayal. Working families just last week showed up all over the country for democrats because they believed democrats were fighting for them. And tonight, 8 senators threw in the towel on that fight in exchange for empty promises

Nothing says you’re looking out for working people like appealing a court order forcing you to feed the hungry.

This administration’s policies continue to fail working families across Kentucky and the country. Voters will hold it accountable. Last night’s election results were just the beginning.

Congrats to my former CIA colleague Abigail Spanberger and to Mikie Sherrill on their election wins tonight - unmistakable victories for working families and those who want calm, steady leadership.

And because some democrats have trouble saying it, congrats to New Yorkers and Zohran Mamdani!

My thoughts are with the families of the flight crew, airport workers, and our first responders who are working in dangerous conditions to protect the community.

It was great meeting with the Pulaski County Democratic Women’s club last night.

Fair warning: they invited me back to sing at their Christmas party. I expect demand for tickets to be roughly on par with the Eras tour .

I’m running for the U.S. Senate with a simple message: the greatest threat to this country is the economic war being waged against working families. Costs are out of control and wealth continues to accumulate at the top. We chose the policies that created this, and we can choose differently.
Dems need to figure out how to have a message that cuts through the noise created by right-wing mainstream & social media. You could have the best policy proposals ever, but that’s simply not enough.

The same poll showed democrats with only a 2 point advantage on the generic ballot, down from an 11- point advantage at the same point in Trump’s first term.

We have to do a better job.
🚨A new Washington Post-ABC News-Ipsos poll shows that on the economy — the issue that carried Trump back to the White House — only 37% of Americans approve of his performance, compared to 62% who disapprove. This is in line with other recent polls.

This is a very serious problem for Republicans.

Martha Layne Collins was a trailblazing and enterprising Kentuckian. The first and only female governor of our Commonwealth, she brought Toyota to Kentucky and brought unprecedented economic growth to the state. Her commitment to her fellow Kentuckians was exemplified in her public service.
Martha Layne Collins, KY’s first woman governor & Toyota dealmaker, dies at 88
One of Collins’ biggest achievements in office was luring a Toyota plant to Georgetown, a move that created thousands of jobs in the region.

I don’t think there can be any other conversation until we know exactly what Trump means by “testing.”

Three subcritical tests were conducted during his first term, deer god please let it be that.
A long-deranged and deeply depraved man with a pronouncedly and acceleratingly deteriorating mind announces that he intends to play with the large arsenal of nuclear weapons he controls.

But it's okay, because he's not seeking a third term.

My thoughts on A House of Dynamite.

“Nuclear deterrence depends not just on technology and procedure, but on wisdom, clear communication, and stable democratic institutions - much of which is in short supply in 2025 America. “
A House of Dynamite: What happens when an ICBM is launched at the United States?
The film forces us to confront the system of nuclear deterrence and response rather than become distracted by a specific villain

It’s because SNAP recipients didn’t collectively praise him like Milei did.
Let me get this straight: Trump found tens of billions of dollars to give to Argentina for a bailout during our government shutdown, but he couldn't find funding to keep SNAP program benefits going for 42 million hungry Americans past this Friday?

I worked in the White House Situation Room and fortunately, most of the critical functions shown in the movie are performed by competent civil servants. Soon though, there won’t be enough left.
Watching nuclear war drama A House of Dynamite, and by far the most jarring aspect is that the US executive staff are portrayed as competent, sober adults.
