Not to be a pedant, but last season our squad average age was about 33, so it follows that this year it is probably 34. I’m not saying that is good, in any way.

Last night’s lighten was a fantastic album from The Delgados. Didn’t garner much of a reaction from the family I’m sad to say. I loved it however.

And tonight was this classic, picked up from Truck Store for a huge £4.50. I’m a huge fan of Duke; other family members were not as keen as I was, but didn’t go as far as disliking. #dukeellington #vinyl

So two weeks off turned into four weeks of sick leave as my back has turned to dust. Happy to report that we are now back to records as I can sit at a table again. Last night we enjoyed this Marnie Stern joint. Big thumbs up from the baby who was grooving whilst eating a burger. #marniestern #vinyl

Obviously tonight not last night, I am so incredibly ready for two weeks off work.

Got through this utterly huge rager last night. One of my favourite albums as a mid- to late-teenager and still rips today. Super wintery album. Theo tonight was more taken by a nappy bag floating through the air but Holly listened eagerly to my musings about the feels I get from this. #autolux
