So two weeks off turned into four weeks of sick leave as my back has turned to dust. Happy to report that we are now back to records as I can sit at a table again. Last night we enjoyed this Marnie Stern joint. Big thumbs up from the baby who was grooving whilst eating a burger. #marniestern #vinyl

Got through this utterly huge rager last night. One of my favourite albums as a mid- to late-teenager and still rips today. Super wintery album. Theo tonight was more taken by a nappy bag floating through the air but Holly listened eagerly to my musings about the feels I get from this. #autolux

Tonight was Fomie’s ‘Ominus Prominence’, which came curtesy of the Limited Addition record club. Theo bounced a bit and I really enjoyed it personally, must invest more listening and had in-laws talking over it.

Absolute banger album, love Cardiacs, love music that sounds better than the Beatles one minute and like a carnival on amphetamine another. #nowspinning #vinyl #cardiacs

Tonight was a stone cold Lips classic. Holly enjoyed a lot, Theo slightly non-plussed but he’s more of a butt rock guy. Massive, formative memories for me from this album - I don’t love all FL output but this and The Soft Bulletin are top drawer. #vinyl

Tonight’s listen was Breakfast in America by Supertramp following complaints of previous choices being too abrasive. Holly - ‘yeah that was good’. Theo - not the usual levels of excitement but he enjoyed the title track. I’m a fan of this album (I own it, after all); side A rips, B is a bit meh.
