At the heart of every attack on disability benefits is the myth disabled people “get perks”: a free car, loads of cash, a life off work. It misrepresents the reality of disability, whilst exploiting low wages and high living costs to make the public envy people in daily pain.

Another question: How does it make sense that a disabled person who scored 8-12+ PIP points over a broad section of criteria fail to get PIP? The've demonstrated they have multiple issues. Why are multiple issue disabled people being cast adrift like their disabilties don't matter or are not costly?
I have written to the government to express my deep concerns about the proposed changes to disability benefits, and to ask a number of questions.

I will vote against these cuts.

I hadn't even thought of the council tax reductions. That'll be a quadruple blow to disabled people who fail to meet the new PIP requirements. Loss of PIP, LCWRA, carer's allowance AND council tax reductions. Have your party even thought this through?? It is utterly barbaric.
Ministers are silent, but PIP cuts won’t just hurt disabled people — carers will suffer too.

PIP is a passport to support like Carer’s Allowance & council tax reductions. Losing it could cost carers thousands a year, pushing families deeper into poverty.

The American Right is literally just banning words that they don't like and people are still pretending they are pro freedom of speech
2. A memo distributed by NSA leadership to its staff says that on February 10, all NSA websites and internal network pages that contain banned words will be deleted.

This is the list of 27 banned words distributed to NSA staff:

The Right built a powerful, partisan, & participatory media environment to support its messaging, which offers a compelling "deep story" for its participants. The Left relied upon rigid, self-preserving institutional media and its "story" is little more than a defense of imperfect institutions.

It's nice on here. I am actually seeing people I want to see, I'm not being harrassed by the incessant thoughts of one E Musk, and I don't have that horrible gnawing feeling of losing faith in humanity. Also there's no t*ssers
