Every year, Mississauga vacuum leaf pickup can be delayed because of snow or heavy rain. In light of recent weather, pickup may be delay slightly this year. Please keep leaves on the grass -- not on the road or in storm gutters.

Great to welcome the U10 Mississauga Huskies to Council today!

Going from a 0-6 spring and a 1-5 fall last year, to a 5-1 season and a championship win this spring is an incredible achievement. Congrats, team. Well deserved!

Hi! I’m a student in Councillor Horneck’s office and I just created a new tool on his website. You enter an address to find nearby City spots like pools and dog parks. We designed it for our residents, but it shows sites across the city.

Met some really great entrepreneurial @Rotary members. A great chance to meet small business owners. Thanks to my friend Zohair Hasanbhai for the invitation.

I really feel like if you have people come together with the common cause of improving their neighbourhoods, you can make great changes and have a lot of fun.
Hazel Heights RA and Sagebrush Trail/Bramble road groups give me so much hope about our city. #mississauga #ward6 @rechievaldez.bsky.social

The recent #Mississauga property tax increase is a challenge according to residents. That's why I voted against the 2025 budgets and will meet with residents in the Fall about the 2026 budget.

My sincere thanks to the staff and crews who worked to get the trail open for the summer season.

If you haven't taken time to experience the trail before, there is no better time to experience the beauty of the Credit River.
May 16, 2025 at 7:17 PM
The Mississauga Parks team is pleased to report trail restoration work in Erindale Park along the Credit River has been completed and the trail is now open to the public.

This was a challenging project given the scale of the work and the environmental considerations.

Thank You to the Dozens of Volunteers Who Helped Make Rathburn Parks Pristine

We had amazing volunteers on Saturday who cleaned up three parks along Rathburn - Deer Run, Deer Wood and Sawgrass Parks as part of our Earth Day (Week) events.
April 28, 2025 at 7:21 PM
Today, as we celebrate #EarthDay, let's recommit to being good neighbours—not only to each other but also to the environment we share. Every action counts, whether it's planting native trees, choosing sustainable transportation, or participating in local clean-ups.
