In Ireland it’s a recommendation to carry your passport and other immigration documents with you at all times in some states and to call the Embassy if you get picked up. Sadly there also needs to be advice for transgender people whose passports don’t match their birth gender and can be declined

Asperger, ironically in this case, probably collaborated with the Nazis to allow some kids to be euthanized. Damnatio Memoriae is appropriate in his case.

I have, in a funny way. I was in a chain restaurant last night in Dublin and the bathrooms were marked M and F. The problem is that in Irish Gaelic (gaelige), the official 1st language of Ireland, ‘Men’ translates as ‘Fir’ and ‘Women’ is ‘mná’. Different language, different restroom. Take your pick!

One other small issue. While listening to the Podcast I looked down at my Apple Watch fitness tracker and saw this. Gave me a bit of a shock but I might get out of doing the groceries.

Maybe you won’t get so many laughs in Ireland about the Civil Wars. Perhaps 2-3 times as many casualties as in England. 20-40% of its population dying from war, disease and famine. I know it’s typically totally ignored with all the Cavalier and Roundhead guff.
