So what you're saying is that those lottery numbers would not have been chosen for the 1st pick tonight.

To be fair, most people typically just say what words sound right without using much active intelligence.

The Sun will have an interesting choice of 2 amongst a bunch of guards that likely will be the best players left at their 7 and 8 spots this draft: Amoore, Joycte, Paopao, Sellers, and Fudd. So 2 rooks to gin up interest, provide backcourt depth to trade Mabrey, and tank for Watkins or Betts.

I went from a WDS skeptic to a complete semi-fanatical WDS fanboy in a matter of 6 months. Can't wait to play this one.

I might be in a minority of one among ASL fans in saying this, but I think ASL is the Warhammer 40k of hex and counter games. Not just because both are immersive, life-style games but also because they both have absurdly complex, unrealistic, & game-y mechanics that somehow make them wicked fun.

And a Savannah Levy & Campaign focused on lion prides and hyena clans competing both within species and between them for resources. The analogy wouldn't be perfect, but I could see some core mechanical overlaps.

This great to see! Arete is a fantastic game regardless of the media it's played in, and it's awesome for the community to have more variety for how to play hex-and-counter games.

Yes, WDS games aren't the snazziest products graphically. But recent improvements in their UI and increasingly better AI make them some of the best boardgame-style video wargames out there. Their similar Seven Years War product was really well-done!

I really pop appreciate the transparent communication on pricing.

The sales price on the Worthington Civil War Brigade Series games crazy low. Must need to make room for new inventory.

The Grass Crown rocks, it's my favorite (non)hex-and-counter game of the era by far. Swords & Shields is good fun as well. Hope there's more of both down he road.
