Rachel Reeves says on Laura Kuenssberg that she's asking working people to pay a little bit more.

This was all under the cover of a made up "black hole" whilst refusing to tax the super rich.

This Labour Government showing again exactly who they are and who they serve.

At last the BBC push back against the household budget theory of public finances. High time, I have been pushing back against this for almost 15 years now.
Isn't it refreshing when someone actually does nuance and detail?

H/t @andyverity.bsky.social at the BBC!

Everything I’ve seen from @zackpolanski.bsky.social has been positive but the fact that he’s the only political leader in my lifetime to talk economic sense and debunk neoliberal myths on major platforms has tipped me over the edge - Now I’m a member.

The country wants a wealth tax on assets.

They're panicking because "won't the rich just leave" has been utterly debunked.

They've got no actual argument.

The Guardian are reporting a significant increase in Jewish people voting for the Green Party.

It's almost like many of us grew up learning a history of persecution & violence.

We don't oppose the Genocide in spite of being Jewish but because of it.

Never again for everyone.

When I joined @scottishgreens.org in 2001, there were around 6,000 Green members across the UK. About the same number as has joined today - as reported by @zackpolanski.bsky.social just now.

130k @greenparty.org.uk of England & Wales members.

138k Greens UK-wide. Astonishing.

Astonishing advance by the Greens, astonishing implosion of Labour. When will Starmer's government get the message that it is destroying its base with deeply unpopular, rightwing policies?

By chasing Reform, it legitimises the far right while delegitimising itself.
Latest poll puts Greens just two points behind Labour. When I said we weren't here to be disappointed in Labour but to replace them, I meant it.

Join us and let's make hope normal again.
