A competent IRS is good, actually. At least as long as we have an income tax anything like what we have. And that's not going anywhere.

Iowa extends PTET deadline for 2022 retroactive elections to April 30, 2024. Was 1/2/2024.
Remember, Iowa won't process credits until PTET is paid. Also, election, and often payment, required in 2023 for 2023 deduction
