Peeps. Do we, as a society, need to put everything else on hold until we decide how big Uno needs to be?

You could show this screenshot to 100 people and let them guess 100 times and I am metaphysically certain they would not guess the universally recognized character this is the origin story of.

Weird thing. I've always assumed "Jurassic" as a scientifically imperfect way to describe "The Age of Dinosaurs" started with Jurassic Park but here's a cheap pulpy sci-fi novel from 1971 that describes the events of the book as happening "Millions of years ago in the Jurassic Age."

So this is the Spalding Urban Outfitters Exclusive Globe Basketball, sold about two years ago.

Notice anything weird.

Ya'll they done gone and put the Mercator Projection on a globe. Like I'm not even sure if I'm angry I'm legit trying to figure out how they pulled it off.

Hidden gem. Stephen Leigh's "Ray Bradbury's Dinosaur World" series. A YA novel series about a 2 adults and 3 children that wind up time traveling... that's a sequel to the classic Ray Bradbury short story "A Sound of Thunder"

I edited out the name because the user was making a good and valid point in another context and this a bouncing off of what they said not a direct rebuttal, but people creating stuff independently very much sometimes feel they have to always be "on" as to self promotion.

Armed Services Editions. Small digest books printed for service members in WWII. Their small size and unique.... error aspect ratio I guess... comes from how they were printed. They were printed two at a time on machines designed to print full size manuals, then cut in half horizontally.
