I’m honestly surprised the Guardians have had the success they’ve had in recent years. MLB is so broken. Probably beyond repair because no way these agents (and players) will let the owners make the drastic changes needed to introduce a real salary cap.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are close to $1 billion in deferred salary obligations.

I read from someone today (a fantasy baseball guy) who said that “everyone had a choice to sign Blake Snell to that contract (only the 2nd highest contract in MLB history for a starter), but just chose not to”.
Like a team like the Guardians actually had a shot, but “just chose not to”…. gtfo.

Elon did this to himself. Just wait til Threads (Instagram’s version of Twitter) comes out, hopefully soon. Twitter is on the ropes right now. This last weekend was a huge blow.
