A Southwest Airlines plane was forced to abort its landing this morning after a private jet taxied in front of it across the runway at Midway Airport in Chicago.

Whatever that guy from The Real World is doing with the FAA has gotta stop.

It’s happening, people. Elon Musk’s hostile takeover of federal government infrastructure is now in progress.

So who has Musk corralled to help him execute his plans?

Musk has hired a bunch of “engineers” who are barely out of college. At least one may still be in school.

Musk’s DOGE lackeys…

Yes. While there are absolutely things Democrats can and must do to slow, obstruct, etc, GOP hold both House and Senate majorities, severely limiting our options.

Johnson and Thune are handing over the own keys and relinquishing their own power. Even for the cynics this should be a shock.
We all like to yell at the Democrats, but it’s really Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune who are letting Elon Musk and his faceless goon squad make a mockery of their power as leaders of a coequal branch without uttering a peep or lifting a finger.

My stomach turns when I read all the conspiracy theories from Maga lunatics like f.e. Rand Paul.

Blame Monster Trump, he did nothing, people died and he didn’t take any responsibility.

Dr. Fauci, who protected the American people from a deadly virus, is a hero.

A HERO.
Period.

No wonder Alabama ranks dead last in almost every category.

What Dr. Oz is really saying is that he thinks the old and sick have no right to live.
Trump Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services nominee Dr. Oz once said the uninsured “don’t have the right to health,” but should be given “a way of crawling back out of the abyss” with “15-minute physicals” provided by the government “in a festival like setting.”

Back on Twitter, I followed some MAGA accounts, like Donald Trump Jr., on the pretext of keeping tabs on what they were up to and to provide fact checks.

I'm not doing that here. It is going to make life infinitely more pleasant. I just no longer care what an idiotic troll like Don Jr. has to say.

He isn’t walking it back. Note what he says: “start with,” “begin there.” They’re going to start by rounding up cases who it will be hard for liberals, the media, etc, to defend. Then they’ll start testing to see how far they can go.
Notable - Mike Johnson on CNN walks back Trump's promise to deport as many as 20m people, saying "I'm not sure that's what's gonna happen. I think what the president is talking about is beginning w/the dangerous persons that we know are here. There are criminals, known criminals"
