"Workplace cheating" becoming the new normal. Welcome to career catfishing, coffee badging, and quiet vacationing.

The article doesn't say if the study asked Gen X about these behaviours, so rather perpetuates generational stereotyping. Still interesting.

Nearly a quarter Gen Z and millennials are career catfishing because they were dared to
Others admit they "just weren't feeling it"

Want good tech support? Describe the problem in as much detail as possible, including screenshots, error messages & links to where the problem can be reproduced. Also give an indication of the business impact/urgency of the problem.

Pro tip: be polite and get the support engineer on your side.

Building a SaaS product is like riding a pendulum swinging between anxiety about not having enough clients and anxiety about not having enough capacity to support all the clients.

Really struck by Gisèle Pelicot's bravery and digntity in utterly unimaginable circumstances. Also - and in no way trying to trivialise events - these courtroom sketches by Benoit Peyruqc are great. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cn...

"It comes after it was announced that Dame Andrea Jenkyns would be running for his party in next year’s Greater Lincolnshire mayoral election."

Perhaps Dame Andrea Jenkyns would be a better choice then, given that it will be recorded in Lincoln? 🤷‍♂️

How local news providers' need for clicks to drive ad revenue is resulting in "ultra-processed news." Interesting read from a disillusioned former local journalist.
AI is doing nothing good for local news. This is a shocking (if unsurprising, on reflection) exposé of what is going on. And if highly-processed food makes us fat, what does highly-processed news do? Again, nothing good. Written by a human! Please read +share!
