Too much hand-wringing about Creighton Men’s Basketball, and not enough celebrating of the awesome week for Creighton Women’s Basketball and Volleyball.

The NBA has been accused of prioritizing the playoffs so much that it compromised the regular season, but MLS is the only sports league that has figured out a way to compromise both the regular season and the playoffs.

Bluesky has been nice because I get all the sports, politics, and history news, opinions, and discussions without the unhinged, toxic energy of the other site.

I never thought I would find myself paying for a news subscription since I get access via work to several.

When “leave it up to the individual states” becomes “leave it up to individual cities” the only losers are the citizens the gov. is supposed to serve, protect, and guide.

I do have concerns about the direction the next administration will take with rhetoric from JD Vance like below and referring to faculty as “enemies”.

As Division I collegiate athletics continue to trends toward being considered professional, it will be very interesting to see how situations like Auburn basketball are addressed.
Pros would certainly face monetary, financial, and roster consequences.
