Part-time asistant lecturer in the sociology department in University College Cork. Focus on subjective knowledges and in particular 'lived experience'. Incorporating genealogy and theology in the framework of social justice. Let Justice Roll Like A River.
This remains the most beautiful poem I have ever read. 'Love' by George Herbert.

God as the inn keeper welcoming in the cold and weary traveller. He addresses every concern - reassuring the traveller, he's got all his concerns covered. Indeed they are covered by His all encompassing love.

This quote from a 1949 Quaker booklet pierced my heart.

"We suggest that from now on, peace will not be for the strong, but for the just, and further, that there will neither be peace until men learn to be just, nor justice until men determine to renounce violence".
