Of course, I would have hoped that some UK offensive interests had moved on, but I believe the Scotch Whisky Association + others have wanted this deal for decades

And it also signals continued support for outward orientated growth - that does matter

I think its important to flag.. we have focused so far more on the compliance cost issues associated with the "green squeeze", but there are other economic/price effects (though more difficult to capture) given the host of measures being deployed vis-a-vis poorer c's struggling with debt etc.
