This evening I Zoomed a book club of over a hundred teachers in Turkey who had read my book "A Library of Lemons". An extraordinary experience that reminded me how we are really all just stories in the end.

Tomorrow I'll be in London watching four actors performing a script I wrote in an evening of rehearsed readings of new writing. I am SO excited! It's only a 10-min piece but it's the first time professional actors will speak my lines. Thank you Page2Stage London for the opportunity!

Beautiful light on today's dog walk.

Four years ago I did a banging painting of a swan. Still super proud of it and only slightly alarmed that I can't remember where it is now...probably in a random pile in a corner of my house... #painting

When I was a kid, I spent HOURS playing with FIMO polymer clay. I'm 48 and have just spent a really happy afternoon doing the same 😊
A collection of polymer clay creations to be turned into earrings: rainbow stripes, tiny mushrooms, and shiny multi loops and discs. Some have been varnished with resin.

Saw the wonderful Peter Pan Goes Wrong at the Lyric in London yesterday - the kids and I are massive Mischief Comedy fans and were thrilled to see five of the original cast members! Whole show absolutely brilliant 👏👏👏

Had some friends round to make things in my brand new craft studio 😃😃😃 very mood-boosting ❤️
Looking through an open doorway into a large wooden studio. Trays and shelves and paint tubes line the walls and in the middle of the floor is a table with six chairs, waiting for people to come in. Over one of the chairs is draped a pile of fabric, and a silky gauze is draped across the ceiling. The room looks warm and inviting.
