He is truly addled.

Ike is understandably worried that food will fail to appear. This is highly concerning.
TBF it doesn't show up on the most regular of schedules, although the correct number and amount of meals does appear every day. But the possibility that it won't means the Food Lady requires close supervision.

Ike doesn't understand why I am donating to a food pantry for strangers when there is a a cat RIGHT HERE IN FRONT OF ME who is in GRAVE DANGER of STARVATION!!

(He gets fed regularly. Believe me, it's really hard for a 17 lb cat to convince anyone he is suffering from a lack of food.)

The amount got cut off. Local food pantry here in Tarpon Springs, FL for a recurring $20 monthly donation.
It's just a bit more than the $19 in SNAP benefits I'd have gotten if I'd bothered to file.
(I'm fine, I'm now old enough for Social Security benefits. Until they ditch those I can manage.)

A sweet little blep from my void lady, MiuMiu.
She has a tiny white locket & a bit of white on her belly but is otherwise The Darkness. Black nose, black whiskers, & adorable black toe beans. She's a darling snuggle kitty but good photos are tough.

Of course it's not risk free, living around big trees in these parts.

This happened last night at the building next door. It sounded somewhere between a shot and a cannon. It was loud and fast. It must have been a direct strike. There was one single sound, not a boom, then a crash afterwards.
