Another Zelda OoT ROM hack, this one telling the story of what happened to Link between Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. As someone that holds Majora's Mask near and dear to my heart, it was really cool getting a nuanced lens of what may have been on Link's mind during its events.

Raidou Remastered
I started a playthrough of this with a couple buddies years back, but we didn't get very far. Thankfully, the remake (yeah, it's a full-on remake despite what the game calls itself) has a lot more QoL to help with the game's pacing, and playing it by myself was easier to schedule!

Raidou Remastered

Look Outside
I don't often play survival-horror games, but being an RPGMaker survival-horror that actually features combat *without* the explicit promise of trying to be Fear & Hunger sounded very appealing to me. Happy to say it delivered on a looking-to-be-spooked front and an RPG-player front.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition

Akiba Maid War
Do you like Like a Dragon's gangster-drama stories and very wacky side-quests? Because this is just a mix of those in show form. Maid Cafes in Akiba are violent Yakuza gangs when they're not in the middle of being Maid Cafes. That's it. That's the pitch. It's unhinged and hilarious.

It's a mod that lets you change Kongs anywhere on the fly instead of needing to use the Tag Barrels. What a fantastic way to revisit a game I haven't played in nearly 25 years. Feels just like how I remember it (now that I'm old enough to get bugged by backtracking).

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl
I really like The Wrong Trousers so it's fun to see a direct follow-up to it. I liked the amount of quiet moments its prequel had so Vengeance Most Fowl loses me a bit with the chattiness. That said, the physicality of W&G's humor is still just fantastic.

Finished revisiting this after watching it the first time last year, and it's just as fun on a second watch. It's a western flick-samurai movie hybrid pretending to be a 19th-century Wacky Races anime! I'm endeared by this cast and how well they work together both on and off the road.
