Good morning. Continuing to get to know connections here new and old.

Here's something personal I wrote in light of the times ahead.

I do not buy into the fallacy of complying and being "one of the good ones" just to get fair treatment.

You know what? We might have lots to be thankful for, but there's also plenty to be outraged about right now. It's okay to say things aren't normal while eating leftovers. Refuel yourself for the times ahead.

I admit my bias regarding AI. It should not be used for everything. And here is an example of how it can be spoofed (sometimes for ill) by carefully crafted words: www.pcgamer.com/software/ai/...
Poets are now cybersecurity threats: Researchers used 'adversarial poetry' to trick AI into ignoring its safety guard rails and it worked 62% of the time

Marjorie Taylor Greene's resigning in time to get a pension is a lesson to everyone.

Most Americans don't get *any* pension anymore, but Congress gave itself a pension after only five years of work.

Our "representatives" aren't working for us, they are [barely] working for themselves.

"The Attorney General of the United States has set a new low for this committee," Whitehouse said.

Shouldn't doing what Pam Bondi is accusing James Comey of doing be a scandal that would make her have to resign? In her case it's is easily proven that she lied to the committee.

Seeing an unfortunate trend of people who probably think they are well-meaning by using AI to stage situations, but without tagging the content as AI. If you rewatch carefully, you can spot the AI "hiccups," but it just makes everything very muddy. Please don't do this.

It’s not enough to simply thank our veterans for their service.

Millions of them rely on SNAP and the ACA.

Many struggle with PTSD and worry about access to mental health services.

Today, on Veterans Day, let’s renew our commitment to keep fighting for those who fought for us.

So, the political scene is... I don't have words. Can we just skip to the part of winter when Krampus comes knocking? Flip tables. Activate goblin mode. Become feral. Find your joy and protect your peace. We're on our own.
