This is one of the main roads in and out of East Belfast right now. This is a paramilitary backed far-right racist roadblock.

Police aren’t intervening, they are redirecting traffic away from the racist roadblock. This is facilitating racist intimidation and terror. Where is the Justice Minister?

Refugees welcome, new communities welcome, who lives here belongs here. That's it.

Keir Starmer denies pushing anti-migrant policies in order to chase Reform, saying that "I'm doing this because it is right, because it is fair and because it is what I believe".

A reminder of what he said he believed when he was running for Labour leader.

It’s cold but having tested it I’d say it isn’t 4x bottoms and 5x tops cold. Probably once less on each area would have been preferable and less Michelin-woman-ish

The ‘Made in England’ Powell and Pressburger doc with Scorsese is now on iPlayer, as are several great P&P films, although you’ll
have to go elsewhere to find the weirdest and, to my mind, most wonderful, A Canterbury Tale (1944). All pair nicely with this Screenshot ep www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m...
