The award is very special to me coming at a time when I'm trying to overcome health issues that have prevented me from doing much workwise for more than a year, and I will cherish it as a positive to focus on until I can return to my full capacity.

I also want to acknowledge the PHAA SA Branch committee members, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion SIG committee members, PHAA collaborators across the wider membership and the PHAA policy team for being welcoming, sharing knowledge about advocacy and policy and all things public health

I feel fortunate to be working with wonderful people on projects that align with my values and passion. @franbaum.bsky.social is such an inspiration to me and I have benefitted from amazing mentors Fran, Toby Freeman, @annaziersch.bsky.social @martinmckee.bsky.social plus lovely colleagues/friends
