My marriage went on for years longer than it should have because we were living in a rent-controlled apartment and neither of us could afford to rent somewhere at market rate. Thankfully it was merely dysfunctional rather than abusive, but it could have been much worse for either or both of us.

Therapy isn't a solution, it's a process. In a way the same goes for transition. You have to engage with it purposefully, and in many cases run toward, sit with, & work through the pain instead of dramatically inflicting it on yourself to justify isolation. 4/4

That, and watching someone self-destruct on stage over the state of trans rights at the moment. Powerful stuff.
