When I said personality, I meant people voting for their preferred personality rather than on dance talent alone.

It *is* in large part a personality contest. Always has been. Believing it's not that is a recipe for year on year disappointment as a viewer.

Oh and they're about to charge business rates to EV charge providers per charge point which will put the cost up further.

Public charging prices are comparable to petrol in some cases. Haven't had to do a service yet so hoping that will be cheaper to offset. But at moment, my EV is costing more than I anticipated!

Less cost effective if you are struggling to get an ev charger installed at home... I've been waiting six months for local grid to do work to address a looped connection (mine and neighbour's house share a mains connection) how many properties like this and/or those in flats etc?

Well I work for a not for profit provider in the sector and we aren't a minimum wage payer, nor do we make big profits or pay big exec salaries & it's still a struggle to make ends meet. So while the contradictions are certainly there, don't let them obfuscate the underlying critical funding issues.

And in primarily local authority funded sectors like social care, local government are responsible for the wage suppression with their low funding rates.
