Maybe the undocumented females overwhelmingly opting for flights back to their country of origin might be the wake up call ‘incels’ need, but I somehow doubt it.

And there’s also the chance those with no moral quandary with the US might see trips shortened if prices rise there across the board.

It makes a lot of sense, I think some people will plan other destinations, but others might have reasons to still go (family in my case, business for others) but could feel more comfortable morally at least shortening time & money spent there.

As I mentioned in my quote of this, these numbers also surely include people who booked months in advance so I’ll be interesting to see another one in a year!
Is the number generated as a percentage of NZers currently travelling? So of 100 on overseas holiday, 25 less are in the USA?
