Submitting this one for Civ VII until someone finds a more genius one where buildings of multiple cultures are stacked or so.

No idea if Hawaiians were the best choice, but they sure were the coolest and most fitting!

Modder brain is when you think about a game multiple times a day but actually *play* it just a month.

But when I do, it's suddenly 7am again and I need to get ready for work without any sleep...

Got what's maybe the most lovely scenery in started with in this game so far though:

Getting ready for the grand opening of the Civ VII Steam Workshop by making thumbnails

lol those feet are even fully clothed (well, most of them) - definitely got more textiles on them than Catherine in "the civ game for children"!

lol I assume this succession of posts is not coincidental?

Ok long ages setting makes it quite fun but is probably not that balanced. But who'd have thought that I'd end up warmongering in Civ... Really fun system this time around. I even enjoyed Exploration as a whole due to being able to focus more on my own continent as Songhai.

fwiw, Skyrim's German loc had consulting from the modders who made the fix for Oblivion. Now *that* was a game where the German loc was absolutely butchered.

Turns out that when the game asks "which city?" and you say "the player", it gets mad. Issue is fixed, just need to test if all effects work as intended. Then hopefully have this coming soon.

Bonus points for anyone who knows all three references made in the thumbnail.

Hello darkness my old friend

There's a risk with playing snipers when you know you just peaked and will never ever do something as good again. After this play, the game just wasn't the same for me anymore and I eventually stopped playing, lol.

(yes, this was still OW1)

These are the choices I made. Interesting that the modern one asks for cohesiveness on a wildcard focused leader :D
Looking forward to finding it in future playthroughs then, after all the challenges are set up to play a leader (at least) 3x anyway.

Filling out my building sheets with pics from my Mughal game, I didn't even see the Schoolhouse at first - it's one of the few modern buildings where the whole model is adjusted for a style instead of just recoloring the same model.

Interesting. I noticed that specialists don't count as Urban Population but are their own thing.

First proper mod: making warehouses overbuildable (without yield loss) so modern cities don't have ancient Granaries in their downtown anymore.

This one came totally unexpected, but I'm definitely invested in it!
