Finals time. Bede and Nessa were trivial. I was feeling good headed into the fight with Allister. Dusknoir and Chandelure went down with minimal trouble.

Sir Slice is the only one at full health at this point. I send him out, Dynamax him, and......forget that water resists steel. He tanks one hit and I'm like oh. fuck. I hyper potion him, but...

I swapped her out for Jareth, who I hoped would outspeed Darmanitan as long as he could tank a single attack.

There was intense sun in the Hammerlocke Hills, so I skipped that habitat. Figure I'll hold out for foggy weather.

I made it to Hammerlocke but decided to grind a little more before heading to the next gym. I went back to the Riverbank/Bridge Field, where I almost killed Professor Bug too.
