For our Takoma Authors program, Katherine Paterson kindly sent a signed copy of her well-known children’s novel “Bridge to Tarabithia”, which was originally published in 1977. She lived for a time in Takoma Park during the 1970s, and the novel was inspired by events that occurred during that time.
