My wife timed her deliveries of boxed furniture well! She says it is much cheaper than buying “real furniture” (prebuilt and made of wood)…which is true when ignoring the externalities of my assembling it for zero dollars and all the foam packaging waste… (At least no parts were missing.)

When told that the Democrats used to be the pro-slavery party, just say: “and Nixon created the EPA, so what’s your point? Platforms change. We are voting for/against what today’s candidates vow to do.”

Since Reagan, the GOP wants to destroy environmental protections. It is a tenet in their creed.

My only explanation is that the worker was intending to make snow covered mountains, but changed their mind either because they were going to run out of chalk or their shift was ending soon. Haha

Why not split the meeting into two parts: A more private hour or so at first, followed by an inclusive social networking event?

Such a compromise helps overcome the well-intentioned “exclusively inclusive” traps that tarnish affinity groups.

Exactly. It is the equivalent of catching only the “bad” cheaters on tests or term papers. The “good” cheaters go undetected, though they are equally guilty of fraud.

The core of scientific progress relies on truthful data to review and confirm. Is it any wonder we have a reproducibility crisis?
