Still here to complain about local politics.
Can the Mallards start grabbing random old MLB dudes and saying they're just in the crowd? Uh, hey, welcome Mark Grudzielanek, random fan to take an at bat.

From the baseball community on Reddit: The Portland Pickles selected a random fan to take an at bat on fan appreciation night. He hit a 2 run homer.

Looks like someone is pumping their blog out to all registered voters to drum up views and/or opposition to the lakefront plans.

So many thoughts on the return of Paul.
It is interesting that when attacking this you don't say "missing middle"
He also seems uninterested in a homeowners "right" to build an ADU. Only the right to stop their neighbor from building one

"should we build more housing?"
Random NextDoor posters "no, we should just get everyone to agree to stop having kids. Or stop moving here. Or something"

I'm glad the pope is the new campfire milkshake for the Sox. Need anything that isn't the on-field product to talk about.

Time for all of the armchair bus GMs in NextDoor to prove their worth.
#MadisonWI is hiring a #MetroTransit #Genera Manager to lead a growing transit system while supporting staff through process improvement & data-informed practices. $151-$204K/yr. Apply by 5/26. #WIjobs #govjobs #TransitJobs ow.ly/jy8150VVQ82

Awhile ago my recycling bin lid broke off getting blown over by strong winds. I filled out a city of Madison form, got an email back within a few hours and an offer for a bigger bin. Within a few weeks I had my replacement.
Easy and painless process. Good job city

Who was responsible for giving Maynard the weinie? Was there a meeting about it? It's such a funny touch

This is very good and a conversation to have. Madison BRT funding was so much getting new buses, payment systems, etc because funding then required the fancy system. Queue jumping, dedicated lanes, etc aren't brt concepts - they're bus concepts

Good job, Dave. "I call it like I see it because I'm not on either side" isn't entirely played out or the most boring style of punditry.

Car-centric planning prevents your town from being swindled by traveling salesmen because it makes it much more difficult for them to start a moral panic in the town square.

Don't worry, Nino doesn't live in district 19 either!

Did Soglin delete his Facebook from getting push back on his 'plantation politics' rantings?

Really loving and appreciateing alder Bennett pushing back on Soglin's latest new narrative he's trying to push

This isthmus district 9 piece has some hilarious answers.
Is Pritchett looking for the No New Stadium vote in the wrong district?

Plus, too many no turn on red signs is really bottom 3 for you?!?

What is with alder candidates not having campaign websites yet? Does Robert Luther even exist?
