I'm not even sure what the 2 were before this one, but I'm feeling pretty good.

Don't even have to brine; 24 hours of salt does the trick.

You're right this is relatively recent, although we're now 25+ years into brining.

My go-to is grill-roasted on a Weber. Not smoked, just indirect charcoal heat. Hands-off, no oven.

Look, I try not to be an obsessive about this, I get that his postseason performances are pretty special, I won't get mad if/when he gets in.

But Bryce Harper is nowhere fucking near being a Hall of Fame player at this point in his career. He falls short in every measure we have. 82% of JAWS!

This person doesn't allow replies, so I'm clipping the handle, but:

This mass eviction was predicted for literal years, but never happened. Having predicted it, they now treat it as a fact that did happen. Fucking amazing.

What's funny is that I see writers of those critiques also sharing examples of buildings that they think are good, where the massing is absolutely broken up—because that's a normal thing to like. But they're negatively polarized into pretending 1950s projects were great.

Really unfortunate timeline sequence.

SCOPA retains its Dem majority, and every other PA Dem judge won as well.

Pittsburgh this afternoon. They later marched down the street to the front of the store itself.

AFAIK, there’s been no ICE presence at this store, which doesn’t have a big day laborer scene.

OK, so The Devil Is Here In These Hills (2105), the definitive history of the WV Coal Wars, doesn't include Red Neck Army at all. It cites Baldwin-Felts agents using redneck as an epithet in 1912, and then notes bandannas as symbolic wear in the runup to Blair Mountain. Footnote to the former:

After Kirk's single, it would've been 1 run in, 1st & 3rd, nobody out. Completely different game.

Ok, personal brag here: completed Pittsburgh’s Dirty Dozen hill ride today. 13 stupid steep hills, no foot down. Over a mile of total climbing.

I feel like this sort of thing goes around every so often, and what it actually reveals is that many people don’t recognize how pedestrian dynamics actually work. Almost nobody walks in an undeviating straight line, and everybody who does is being an asshole, regardless of social status.
