That is a complete misrepresentation. None of those "atheist dictatorships" did anything in the name of or because of "atheism".
There is no worldview called "athey" with a set of dogmas and doctrines (the ism) or followers (the ists).
Learn, then speak.

IMO, having a call on speaker in public is an invitation for everyone to join the conversation.

Like when there's a big family gathering but a couple of folks couldn't make it so you put 'em on speaker so the whole family can say "Hi!" and tell them what a wonderful meal they missed and so on.
