The increased support over the last, say, four weeks has been remarkable. Possibly attributable to their (Jette's) stated support for a national unity government.

So it is likely up to the Green Left+Labour alliance and the Christians in CDA to decide whether they are ready to govern in coalition.

Only when seen from the United States.
The coalition government's policies were anything but.
And Cameron's Tories had broken with the EPP already in 2008 and moved further away from the center.

It never stops amazing that the British don't seem to see the systemic error.

...and that they avoid this by constantly comparing their system with third world countries and the corrupt US system instead of European peers or Canada.

Mind you, the referendum didn't force the Westminster parliament to support a hard brexit under Theresa May (and an even harder Brexit thereafter).
